FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF UNDERGRADUATE AFFAIRS

FUNCTION

The Undergraduate Affairs Department serves as an advisory and support unit to the Rector regarding the management, organization, and implementation of undergraduate education activities in accordance with legal regulations and University policies; it also acts as the central coordinator for academic affairs among Faculties, Departments, and relevant units.

MISSION

1. Provide advisory services on training activities.

Develop and implement training plans for the academic year and semesters.

Advise on the issuance of regulations and guidelines regarding training management.

Coordinate the development and revision of training curricula in accordance with regulations.

2. Academic Affairs Management

Organize the creation and management of timetables.

Manage course registration, class scheduling, and the opening of classes.

Monitor teaching progress and verify the implementation of training plans.

3. Consolidate, process, and archive academic results.

Manage students throughout the training process.

Monitor students' academic status.

Advise on academic actions (academic warnings, forced withdrawal, deferral, major transfers, etc.).

Organize the review and conferral of graduation.

4. Coordination and Inspection

Coordinate with faculties and departments in organizing instruction, assessment, and evaluation.

Carry out statistical work and prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports on training activities.

Participate in internal inspections and audits related to training operations.

5. Performance of Other Duties

Perform tasks assigned by the Rector in accordance with the various stages of the School's development.
